Work to finish demolishing Dundee's railway station got under way as crews used festive train stoppages to their advantage.
Teams started work to remove the South Union Street Bridge the old station stands on at 22:00 on Christmas Eve.
Crews will work right through to Boxing Day to complete the project before the line is handed back to Network Rail.
Construction of a new £14m station, which will include a Sleeperz hotel, is to get under way next year.
Work has been carried out at the station during the festive period three years in a row, with the outer shell of the station being torn down last year.
Demolition crews have a narrow window to finish removing the bridge, which stands above the main Dundee to Aberdeen railway line.
Workers have deployed huge cranes to lift out the foundation girders - work which was made impossible last Christmas by high winds.
The project is part of a £1bn regeneration project at Dundee's waterfront, which includes the construction of the V&A Dundee design museum at a nearby site.
