A 25-year-old man jailed in a notorious Indonesian prison for violating visa rules is settling back into family life.
Mathew Davies, of Blackwood, Caerphilly county, made an emotional return home on Thursday evening at Cardiff Airport after serving a six month sentence after his visa ran out.
He was held at Cipinang Penitentiary Institution in the capital Jakarta.
Davies was welcomed back by his mother Yvonne, 53, and other family members.
He told the waiting media he was "very happy" to be home.
"I haven't got much to say," he told reporters.
"I'm tired, it's been a long flight, it's been really eventful, just give me a few days and you'll have a story."
Davies travelled to Indonesia to start a job with a computer firm and also worked in a restaurant.
But his working visa ran out and he was jailed in August 2014.
